Geocaching, New Caledonia

Did a couple of quick geocaches after work in New Cal. First was Ouen Toro, not far from our Hotel in Anse Vata. Grabbed a Travel Bug to take back to NZ!

Second was up near the Zoo, to the north of Noumea city center. Took a lot more walking, but meant I got a chance to visit the zoo as well..

Waipuna Cave, Waitomo

Took the wrong track and spent 3 hours carefully following the overgrown and sparsely marked route all the way to a cliff.. And back again...

Found the correct track and walked 5 mins down to the cave entrance....

Cave was rather pretty, generally very mellow with a couple of little crawly bits and a few narrow sections.

Craigieburn MTB and BR Ski

Went with Steph for a Ride at Craigieburn for the morning. Only crashed once ;0)

Then at lunch time we swapped bikes for Skis and spent the afternoon at Broken River.. Nice spring snow in places.

Mt Fyffe Circuit, Kaikoura

Had a great trip to Mt Fyffe and Kowhai Valley in spectacular weather with Pip.
