Grizzly bear area, scared Chucky.... lots of amazing wildflowers, incredible views, perfect weather. Soft snow climb for the last 100m or so to the summit. 8hr round trip. Very sore now... ;0)

East Saint Mary's Peak, Mission Range, MT
SUPER big day.. Early getaway and 1.5hr drive north from Missoula to the Mission Range. 5,600' (1700m) of vertical elevation gain to end up on a 9400' (2860 m) summit.
Grizzly bear area, scared Chucky.... lots of amazing wildflowers, incredible views, perfect weather. Soft snow climb for the last 100m or so to the summit. 8hr round trip. Very sore now... ;0)
