After a suitably lazy morning, Ira and I decided to go have a look for the start of the access track that we'd spied entering Blue creek just before the last high quality section of canyon.
Leaving at 2pm, we wandered up and down the main track for a while carefully scanning through the storm damaged tree kaos for a tell tale pad or marker.
Eventually we found it after a fair bit of searching and took the very overgrown and difficult to follow track for 40mins to Blue Creek.
Descending Blue Ck in the daylight was wonderful. We remembered the majority of the anchors and solutions to downclimbs from the night before, so we were able to spend more time enjoying our surrounds and taking photos than figuring out the canyon.
Spent 2.5hrs going down canyon at a mellow pace then another 30mins back to the car. A lovely afternoons canyoning.
